The Olympic Triathlon is a world championship sport. There are several races around the world that help determine who the fastest is in the world.
I like how ITU sets up their Olympic triathlons. They are set up with "Laps" so they are more spectator friendly and there is more aggression with the athletes.
These videos are great because I can listen to them at work and occassionally switch over to it to watch.
The athletes are amazing and Waaaay out of my league. They finish the entire race in the time that it takes me to finish the bike leg. This is how it was in my first race and how it will probably always be in my races...but it is fun to watch.
It is just really important for me to remind myself that I can not race like this after watching it. I need to relax and I need to perform at my level...not a level of sprinting, like these athletes.
