I rode my bike to work today. 14.4 miles. Unfortunately, I paused my watch while I was getting water, so you don't get to see the real meat of the ride which is a gruelling 2 mile hill with 350' elevation gain. Some of you might say, "That's nothing!"...but I am still trying to find my riding legs, here...
I think I am going to create a profile so I can see how many calories I am burning.
I did most of the ride with a perpetuem tablet in my cheek. I drank water at about 4 miles and again about 8. I drank gatorade at about 12 miles (when my garmin turned off) and it tasted SOOOOOOO GOOD in my mouth.
Work is cool. They have a changing room with showers and they provide towels and soap and stuff, so it is really commuter friendly.
I just made $2 by not driving my car to work.
