I grabbed my bike on the way to work.
I didn't have my Garmin or any water bottles, so I decided to do some drills.
I rode 2 miles in my hardest gear.
I rode 1 mile single-legged right in middle ring, smallest gear.
I rode 1 mile single-legged left in middle ring, smallest gear
I rode another 2 miles in my hardest gear.
...And because I was bored out of my mind, I rode a little bit in a normal gear.
It was boring, it was slow, and it was difficult. It was definately not a workout that I would write home about, but I felt like I needed to run some drills anyways to build up some strength. I need to be able to push those cranks harder.
