I am getting more and more satisfied with my running. I have really been focusing on it (3 runs a week) and it is improving beyond a place that I thought I'd ever find it.
At the end of last summer, I ran long distances (2+ miles) at a pace of 8:45/mile.
In the Issaquah Salmon Days 10k race, I really impressed myself with a pace of 8:00/mile for 6 miles.
Today, on my run I decided to push myself. My HRM wasn't working so I just let it fall to my waist.
My pace was 7:47. I am very happy with that improvement. Tomorrow, I will be running 5 miles, so I will see how that goes.
