Found a new tri-sport store in Redmond Washington...

While driving through a business complex next to Marymoor Park looking for a shirt printer, I rolled by a business window that had race bikes and "Zoot" stickers in the window. It was highly unexpected as there didn't seem to be any retailers in the area. http://www.mrcrampys.com/ I decided to stop by. There was an "Open" sign on the door, but apparently they were closed. That didn't stop one of the shop workers from letting me in. I have to set the stage for this...I am 'stumbling' into this sport. I am learning from my own mistakes and learning little lessons each step of the way. I am a husband and a father of 2 kids and I work a full time job, so I don't have a full set of resources to dedicate to the sport... That being said, I was really grateful that they let me in. Ocean Shores Big Weekend: My Olympic Triathlon results

First off, let me start by saying congratulations to TriFreaks. My parents live in Ocean Shores and were spectators to the race last year and this year. My mother wanted to go and talk directly to the person in charge about how pleased they were with how the event turned out. My parents both said the difference was "night and day between last year and this year.". Even after registering, they let me know not to have my expectations high...I don't have high expectations. They really appreciate events at Ocean Shores (as they live there) and after getting to see this event, they really feel like they can get behind and support and share good words about TriFreaks. 4/13/2011 - Ride to work and part way home

I can't remember the last time in my life that I was "Stuck" in a storm. In fact, I am sure that most people can't really say they have been stuck in one. What I mean by stuck is you have no trees to hide under, you have no car to climb into, and you have no building to go inside to wait it out. You are just out in the rain and completely exposed to it...It was pretty intense. The ride to work was good. I learned that hiking backpacks and helmets can be your enemy. As soon as I started going downhill, I would lean forward. This would cause my backpack to push up on my helmet...which would in turn push my helmet over my face. I had to loosen up the backpack so that it would sit really low on my hips to keep it from interfering with my helmet. So the weather report for the day was raining with lightning. I was skeptical. It looked quite nice in the morning...and considering the weather that we've had, I was convinced that there would be no good opport...
